How it works
Our designs
- Every Arteque design is hand-painted by us. Each composition, layout and colour story is our own original work.
- Like every artist, we draw inspiration from traditional Indian motifs and from art and designs that are publicly available. We use them as inspiration only. We create our own designs and never trace or copy another artist's work.
- We respect the work of other artists and take care that our designs don't infringe anyone's copyright.
What belongs to us
- Our original designs, our product photos and videos, and the text on this website are protected by copyright.

- The piece you buy is yours to wear, gift or resell.
- Buying a piece doesn't transfer the rights to its design or photos.
- Made-to-order designs we create for you remain our artwork unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Of course! You're always welcome to post photos of yourself wearing your piece. Tag us, we'd love to see!
Can I use your product photos?
Please don't use our product photos on other websites, marketplaces or social media accounts without our permission. If you'd like to feature our work, just message us and ask.
Can I make designs in a similar style?
Yes. Styles, techniques and traditional motifs belong to everyone, and we're happy if our work inspires you.
